INSPIRATION:

A hike through Ventana Canyon requires focus. To complete the strenuous trail, you'll need to climb steep switchbacks, scramble up a boulder or two, and–depending on the weather–you’ll likely be required to hop from one rock to the next as you make your way across an arroyo. Of course, slowing down provides the opportunity to focus on the exquisite beauty you might otherwise have missed. As you walk, take care to linger before the flowers in bloom. Notice the splendor of each one as you feel the sun on your skin and the breeze through your hair. Pay attention to the scents of the earth, the blossoms, and the scraggly trees baking in the sun. Eventually, you will arrive before the rock window with its stunning view. The scene of the majestic arch near the summit is a stunning thing, but remember that every step it took to get there is equally extraordinary. The Window is a scent inspired by the art of noticing beauty around you. Like the trail, the fragrance reveals itself gradually. First come the delicate notes of Gravel Ghost Blossoms, followed by the scent of Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, and the subtle spice of Saffron. Pink Pepper and Lavender combine to create a sense of depth and contrast before revealing the mysterious notes of Desert Ironwood. The Window is complex, contemplative, and perfect for those who admire the tacit elegance of nature, and who value taking time to savor every step along the way.

Why “Inspired” Deodorant?

First and foremost fine fragrance. At Fulton & Roark, if it doesn't smell fantastic, they're not interested. So, when they decided to create deodorants, they envisioned a product that did far more than prevent unpleasant odors. They wanted to offer high-performance deodorant that smelled as distinguished as our fragrance line. Like in our solid fragrances, we use only the finest essential oils, extracts, and fragrance ingredients to create truly inspired scents that you will be proud to wear, no matter the occasion.

In addition to their core commitment to fine fragrance, at Fulton & Roark, they don’t bother making a product unless they can create something that offers something better than anything else they’ve found. As they started developing their line of deodorants, there were a few things they knew would be important to them:

• They like deodorants that exclude baking soda from their formulas, due to its likelihood to cause irritation.
• They appreciate the use of saccharomyces ferment, due to its natural odor-fighting properties and skin-friendly properties.
• They paid attention to the deodorants that offered an easy, smooth-glide application.
• They value packaging that is more sustainable than the status quo.

Once they defined their formula and packaging they found was that no one product did all of those things at once. That’s when they found their inspiration.

Their line of refillable deodorants is formulated to leave you feeling clean and smelling fantastic all day. They are made of ingredients you can feel good about, and the refillable packaging means that every time you purchase a refill, you’re using about 85% less plastic than buying the status quo. About the Perfumer:
Linda Song - Being Korean-American, then spending time in Paris to receive her masters at ISIPCA, Linda absorbs influences from her multicultural experiences. Living abroad in France and Italy, as well as her many travels, are at the root of Linda's olfactive creations. Whether it's desert trekking in Jordan or immersion in the biodiversity of Cape Town's lush vegetation, along Linda's voyages she focuses on understanding new destinations, researching their history, and exploring local elements. In her work, Linda tempts her senses to prompt the next big idea - something unexpected, cool, real. One of Linda's favorite aspects of being a perfumer is experimenting with notes. "My original love for the industry was about falling in love with ingredients. For a perfumer, we develop a personal relationship with our ingredients to create the harmony of them working together.”



A Note from the Perfumer:
"For this fragrance, I drew inspiration from the striking contrast between the rugged ironwood, renowned for its resilience in the desert, and the delicate flowers that thrive in such harsh conditions. One particular flower, the gravel ghost, was especially influential. Its stems blend seamlessly into the earth, giving the impression that the flowers are magically floating above ground. This ethereal white floral scent, when combined with the rich notes of desert woods, amber, and leather, creates a fragrance that is both surprising and captivating"
