How long should I leave it on? Five minutes is the recommended time. For very dry or damaged hair, leaving it longer -or overnight - will amplify the results.

Will it weigh my hair down? It shouldn't. The formula is rich but rinses clean. Focus application on mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots if you're concerned about weight at the scalp.
