Not quite the same as the candle...
I actually purchased the perfume oil for use in a MUJI essential oil diffuser, in hopes that it may be a more inexpensive and better diffused alternative to the candle. While the scent is present, it is not nearly as effective as the candle. Furthermore, the burning of the wick of the candle imparts some notes that really complete the M&G signature scent in a way that the perfume oil just cannot do.
While it's a fine product -- as with most M&G products -- I gave it three stars, as I find that burnt, smokey note is really important to the sensuality of this scent, and you can can easily notice its absence here. Be sure to buy the candle instead.
