A facial toner is used to remove excess oil, dirt and grime. It is particularly useful for people with oily and acne prone skin, and/or people who work in a very dirty environment that can benefit from this additional cleansing step. Toner is most often applied with a cotton pad - after washing your face and before applying your moisturizer. Some toners are available in pre-soaked pads making it easier for the guy on the go
