New to Urth -- this is now my goto face scrub
Before discovering Urth Face Scrub, my go-to products in this category were Lumin Charcoal "Deep Detox" Scrub and Anthony "Orange" Facial Scrub. Urth's product has quickly become a favourite, offering a unique balance between the two: it’s grittier than Lumin’s but finer than Anthony’s, making it a more refined exfoliation.
I find the mint in Urth’s scrub to be incredibly refreshing, providing a cool, invigorating sensation that wakes up my skin, especially during my morning routine. My skin is older and thinner, so I appreciate how this scrub effectively sloughs away irrelevant and flaky skin without being too harsh. The scent is pleasant and subtle, and it doesn’t linger long after use, which is a plus. The scent does not compete with my cologne.
One thing to note is that because of how well it works, I find you need to apply a moisturizer immediately after using the scrub to keep your skin hydrated. I have been using this product three or four times a week, typically as part of my morning shaving routine. I still reach for Lumin when I need a deeper exfoliation, like after a day of too much sun exposure, but Urth has definitely earned a permanent spot in my regular skincare regimen.
