    Best sea salt spray!

I use this everytime I come out of the shower before applying pomade. It makes a huge difference, highly recommended. Great scent too.

    Strong Hold

For a salt spray this has a stronger hold than many other brands, likely because of the alcohol in it. The scent is fantastic and it works nicely into the hair but it can leave it rather dry.

  • Fine to medium hair types that lack natural texture
  • Anyone who wants a matte, lived-in look
  • Great for short and layered styles, beachy waves, and undone texture
  • Creates natural, beach-inspired texture and separation
  • Adds lift and body without weight or stickiness
  • Matte finish for effortless, lived-in looks Helps refresh styles between washes
  • Works as a lightweight base before styling or finishing
  • 1/5 hold factor and 1/5 shine factor

Salty Dog uses sea salt and texture-enhancing particles to create lift and grip, giving hair a lived-in, undone style that looks natural rather than stiff. Unlike heavy texturizers that weigh hair down, this formula keeps hair light, touchable, and full of movement, making it great for everyday looks as well as layered or shag haircuts.

At MASC, we love Evo Salty Dog Salt Spray because it delivers real texture without the crunch or residue so many salt sprays leave behind. It’s one of our best-selling picks for men who want effortless volume and a “just stepped off the beach” finish - without relying on heavy products or complicated routines. Paired with the right shampoo and conditioner, Salty Dog gives structure to hair that’s lacking natural body while remaining light and reworkable. Perfect for everyday looks or casual, textured grooming.

What’s the difference between Salty Dog and dry shampoo?  Salty Dog adds texture and body by enhancing grip and separation — while dry shampoo primarily absorbs oil. You can use them together for refreshed texture with oil control.

Can I use this on thick hair?  Yes - while it’s especially effective for fine or medium hair, it also adds soft texture and body to thicker hair without stiffness.

Will this make my hair crunchy?  No - Salty Dog is formulated to add texture without the crunchy feel common to old-school salt sprays. Apply lightly and build as needed.

Can I use it on damp and dry hair?  Absolutely. Spraying on damp hair followed by scrunching helps encourage lift and volume; spraying on dry hair refines texture and adds definition.

Is it good for curly or wavy hair?  Yes - it enhances natural movement and definition, making it a good option for wavy or tousled looks.
