Nice light texture, disappointing scent

I love the look of the bottle and the reliability of the pump. The texture is perfect - light and thin without being watery, yet quite hydrating.

It is easy to put a bit too much on, which I find leads to a slight tacky feeling on the skin, but as long as you don't overdo it it absorbs nicely.

My only complaint is the scent - to me it doesn't at all match the description. I find it musty and a tad chemical-y. It's not very strong at all, so the subtlety is nice, but I wouldn't say it's particularly pleasant either. It goes away quickly, so as long as you're not buying it for the scent, this is probably a good product for you.

Fantastic body lotion

This stuff is great! As someone who hates lotions because I can't stand the greasy feeling they leave behind, this stuff is awesome. It does initially have the greasy feeling for about 5ish minutes give or take, but after that it goes back to how my skin normally feels. For how this lotion functions, that too is great, hydrates my skin very well, to the point where a normally inflamed spot on my wrist is starting to calm down and disappear. It spreads very well, you won't need to apply much so it'll last quite a while. I can't quite put my finger on the scent but it smells very nice and won't over power or interfere with any colognes. The quality of ingredients is top notch so nothing to worry about there. It is quite expensive, but I can easily see this lasting me 6 months at a minimum so I can justify the price. Overall, I 100% recommend this product.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Aroma of the gods – Sandalwood and Neroli deliver a sweet combination, not too strong or overpowering but true to their herbal and woody promise, we imagine this be how angels smell.

Hydrating and Balancing – light and non greasy, Jojoba hydrates and rejuvenates skin leaving a natural silky touch on your body all the while keeping skins natural oil production in check.

Toning and Treating – Beeswax and Dragons Blood combine to help treat and balance the skin, with anti-inflammatory properties that calm and soothe skin and creating a breathable protective barrier to the outside world.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Kawakawa (Macropiper Excelsum) — Kawakawa in Mãori refers to the bitter taste of the leaves, from kawa meaning bitter. Kawakawa or NZ Pepper Tree was one of the most important plants in Rongoa (medicine), Mãori used it external- ly for cuts, wounds and bruises and also applied it as a treatment for toothache, nettle stings and eczema. All of which leads us to believe that it makes for a great ingredient in a cleansing, calming body wash. Like YLF itself this ingredient is a great all-rounder.

Goji Oil (Lycium Barbarum) — Legend has it, Buddhist monks discovered Goji berries roaming the Tibetan mountains. These little berries pack a big punch because they are loaded full of nutrients that abound in natural benefits for enhancing human skin. Classified as a “Superior Tonic”, Goji promotes general well being and supports new skin cell growth. Rich in Vitamin C to protect from free radical damage and heal dam- aged skin & apart from anything else, when applied it feels fantastic.

Dragons Blood (Croton Lechleri) — Throughout much of the Amazon rainforest, Dragon’s Blood, called both Sangre de Drago and Sangre de Grado, is the primary topical aid for just about anything bad that can happen to skin. Cuts, bites, burns, stings, rashes, abrasions, sores, wounds and skin insults of all kinds benefit from application of the healing red latex of this tree.
