SCENT INSPIRATION:
In 1920, the US federal government’s prohibition of alcohol began, effectively closing every bar in America. Of course, the alcohol ban didn’t keep Americans from drinking. It simply moved the party underground. Speakeasies popped up throughout the States. When it came to scofflaws, there was no place quite like Chicago. And when it came to the Chicago scene, rumor had it that there was no place as lively as The 226 Club. Of course, separating fact from fiction isn’t easy considering the place was built on secrecy and an endless stream of cocktails. One-hundred years later, that’s part of the charm. Amidst all the tales of legendary mobsters, and crooked city officials, the most fascinating stories of them all were those of the ordinary joes and janes looking for an extraordinary night–risking a run-in with the police for a night of libations and dancing with friends and strangers alike. That sense of optimism, adventure, and the joy of living for tonight inspired 226 Club.
A Note from the Perfumer, Alexandra Monet:
"A note from the Perfumer: “The scent opens with a crisp burst of zesty lemon and vibrant orange, invigorating the senses with a citrusy freshness. A floral blend of geranium and lavandin brings a touch of elegance and sophistication, evolving into a warm, musky base. The result is a beautifully balanced scent that is both invigorating and grounding, perfect for those who seek a fragrance that transcends time and space.”
EXTRAIT DE PARFUM
F&R's customers asked, and they finally delivered. After ten years of producing the best Solid Fragrances around, Fulton & Roark is offering Extraits for the first time. And, as usual, theyre defying some expectations. Each of their fragrances is formulated at an Extrait de Parfum level, which means a much higher fragrance concentration than most offerings on the market. Rather than the 5-10% concentration of an Eau de toilette (EDT) or even the 10-20% concentration levels of an Eau de Parfum, F&R's concentration levels for each scent are 25-30%. The result means a long-lasting, deeply nuanced fragrance with amazing longevity. And of course, just a little goes a long way.
