THE SCIENCE

LED Light Therapy penetrates the skin using specific wavelengths to aid deep conditioning.. This is a non-invasive, chemical-free, painless and safe method of skincare. The light is turned into intracellular energy as it enters the skin, which begins an enzymatic photochemical reaction to trigger the production of glycogen and protein. This stimulates the cell’s metabolism and collagen regeneration which gives anti-ageing, blemish control and toning benefits.

FAQs

Will LED Face Mask help dry skin? LED therapy can help to reduce the inflammation caused by dryness, diminishing the redness you may see on your skin. LED Light also energises the cells which means that they are more capable when functioning, regenerating and to boost repair - this in turn will help the skin to better retain moisture. You should opt for Yellow Light to make the most of these benefits.

Will LED Face Mask help with acne? Many cases of common acne are caused by a bacteria (Propionibacterium) that emits a photosensitizer - this makes it sensitive to blue light. Using blue light therapy on this acne can kill the bacteria deep within the pores to clear up blemishes.

Can you use an LED Mask every day? While it is safe to use an at-home LED Face mask every day, you should be careful not to over use it. We recommend using it 3-5 times a week for great results. You shouldn’t use it in the same routine as any peeling products, so you can use your days off to utilise these formulas. Consistency is key so getting into a routine with your face mask can be the best way to see results. We expect you to see benefits within 2 weeks.

Can you use an LED Face Mask with Retinol? Although your LED Mask does not produce harmful UV rays, light therapy can still produce reactions after retinol use due to increased sensitivity to light. But this doesn’t mean that you can’t use them in the same routine - just complete your LED Face Treatment first, then apply your Retinol formula afterwards.

HOW TO USE

• Fully charge the handheld controller before first use.
• Using the velcro bands, attach the straps to the side of the mask and insert the eye shields.
• Plug the cable into the port of the handheld controller.
• Cleanse your skin and dry with a towel.
• Hold the mask close to your face to position for best fit. Using the straps, fasten the velcro at the back of your head. You can adjust the bands to ensure a snug fit.
You want to ensure that the eye shields are secure to your face to prevent light leak.
• Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the mask.
• Press the power button to select a different mode and use the time selection button to choose your treatment time. You can select 10, 20 or 30 minutes.
• When the time has elapsed, the device will switch itself off. If you want to turn off the device during the process , hold the power button for 2 seconds. Finish your skincare routine with a sheet mask, serum, moisturiser or oil. Repeat 3-5 times per week for the best results.

CHARGING

• Connect the controller to an adapter plug using the USB charging cable.
• Plug into the power supply. The screen will light up and the battery symbol will scroll while charging.
• Charging time is 2.5 hours.
• A solid battery symbol represents a full charge. Do not overcharge - disconnect from the power supply when this shows.
