Water-based, less greasy than other products and washes out easy. Don’t need to use much at all. More expensive than some of the store brands but with the amount here, it will last me about a year.

Gives a nice all day hold that I don't notice, can't ask for more.

I would say this product does everything it says it will. It looks like it will make your hair super crunchy, but it doesn't. It has enough hold, but without turning your hair into a helmet. And as the packaging states, a little water through your hair reactivates it if it ends up getting a little messy or wind blown. And can't beat the price!
