This spray certainly does provide a matte hold but there is far too much alcohol in it to make it work — the hair ends up dry and brittle as a result. The scent of it is not bad, though. If you’re looking for a more natural option that’s gentler on the hair go for the Triumph & Disaster.

For the last year I've been adding a sea salt spray to my hairstyling regimen trying out various products that pique my interest.

This one smells better than anything, dries quickly with enough hold to help shape my hairstyle, and most of all lasts the whole day.

I use it as a base along with Morris Motley treatment styling balm for a matte look I couldn't get any other way.

There's not more I could say about this spray other than you must try it!
