How to Burn
- Select a heat-resistant surface: a traditional cone incense burner, stone, seashell, tile, or ceramic dish.
- Place on a stable surface away from flammable objects, children, and pets.
- Light the tip of the cone and allow to burn for 10 to 15 seconds until an ember forms, then blow out.
- Allow to smoke until the cone has fully burned through.
- Dispose of ash in water to prevent risk of fire.
- Keep your burner clean by scooping ash or rinsing with water. Salt or sand make excellent burner bases.
