Evolution Man Conceal & Treat (2.2g)

The Evolution Man Conceal & Treat is an excellent choice for a niche problem - the acne riddled, image conscious male. However, the packaging of the product is something that needs serious improvements. First off, its a very small tube - almost the size of a AAA battery. It accidentally fell onto the floor and it took me days to locate it. If that's not enough, the tube is made out of a severely thin metal (potentially aluminum). That alone, would be fine, but because the twisting mechanism is rather stiff you need to apply excess pressure to twist the product out which only adds to a feeling of vulnerability. It almost feels like I'm going to crush the tube between my fingers when I twist out the concealer. And finally, the concealer itself is very thick and therefore it makes it even harder to apply directly onto the face because you have to be delicate enough not to snap the product off but hard enough to achieve some good coverage before using a sponge to blend the rest in. I'm assuming you shouldn't have to use a makeup sponge and this can be applied like a spot treatment on a blemish, and if that is the case, then this product is somewhat misleading. But regardless, luckily, I have a sponge on-hand to blend. Overall, the concealer is excellent - it does exactly what it states and it works very well!
